Abortion ruling: Overturning Roe v Wade an assault on freedom - Harris

Overturning the legal right of all Americans to abortion would be a direct assault on freedom, the US vice president has said.

Kamala Harris made the remarks after a document was leaked suggesting the Supreme Court may be about to reverse the landmark 1973 Roe v Wade ruling.

She also accused Republican leaders of "weaponising the use of the law against women".
