The PM's adviser who was seen in a leaked video joking about a Downing Street Christmas party last year, has left her role.
Allegra Stratton gave a tearful resignation speech to the press admitting her remarks "seemed to make light of the rules" and she gave "profound apologies".
She was seen rehearsing for briefings and referred to a Downing Street party last December.
The daily news conferences never started, and the former BBC and ITN journalist later took on duties for the COP26 climate change conference.
