Abbi Aitken-Drummond and Olivia Bell have been named in Scotland's first-ever Women's T20 World Cup squad, with head coach Craig Wallace claiming his side's "possibilities are endless" at the tournament in October.
North West Thunder bowler Bell and Carlton all-rounder Aitken-Drummond, who was Scotland captain for seven years until 2018, join 13 players who featured in the successful qualifying tournament at the start of the summer.
But there is no place for Nayma Sheikh despite the 18-year-old taking four wickets against the Netherlands in August.
"I am so excited about what lies ahead," Wallace said. "If we behave and play the way we have done during the last year, who knows what can happen at the World Cup? We could win as many games as we want to.
"The players play a great brand of cricket and have so much belief in themselves, so the possibilities are limitless really."
The 15-strong squad will head to the United Arab Emirates in mid-September for a training camp before two official warm-up fixtures against Pakistan (28 September) and Sri Lanka (30 September).
Scotland start the Group B campaign in Sharjah against Bangladesh on 3 October before facing West Indies, South Africa and England, with the top two in the group qualifying for the semi-final stage.
Wallace said it had been a "really tough" selection process that showed the "depth in the wider group now" they showed in winning five of their six-match series against the Dutch.
"This is a special day for everyone connected with this team," he added. "To be part of the first group of Scottish players to be selected for a senior Women’s World Cup is a great achievement and the players and their families should be so proud.
"The make-up and balance of this squad is outstanding. We’ve got matchwinners from start to finish within it, which I think is the big difference in the evolution of this squad during my short tenure."
