C4 says bosses didn't know about Brand allegations

Channel 4 managers did not know about allegations against Russell Brand while he was working there, according to the findings of an internal investigation.

However, one "serious and concerning allegation", made in 2009, was not escalated to senior managers and investigated as it should have been.

The findings come six months after the channel's Dispatches programme revealed allegations of rape and sexual assault.

Brand has strongly denied the claims, and police are investigating.
