A former minister who was arrested on suspicion of rape and possession of controlled substances has been re-bailed until April.
Reigate MP Crispin Blunt was arrested in Horley, Surrey, on October 25 and released pending further enquiries.
He has previously said he would "co-operate fully" with the investigation and was "confident" he would not be charged.
Following his arrest, Mr Blunt had the Tory whip withdrawn.
He is currently an independent MP.
Mr Blunt, 63, was first elected in 1997 and has said he does not intend to contest the next election.
