Georgie Dagger has returned to the England set-up by being named in a 31-player training camp for March's international against Australia in Las Vegas.

The 2024 Woman of Steel, formerly known as Georgie Hetherington, missed England's 82-0 win against Wales on 2 November, as it was the day she married her partner Will Dagger, who plays in the men's Championship for York Knights.

Dagger, 27, helped York Valkyrie beat St Helens in the Women's Super League Grand Final in October.

Georgia Roche also returns to the international stage after missing the Wales Test because of club commitments in Australia with Newcastle Knights.

"Everyone in this squad has a chance to earn themselves a spot on the plane to Vegas and that is a testament to the quality we have within the group," said England head coach Stuart Barrow.

England will play Australia on 1 March (02:00 GMT 2 March) as part of a programme of four rugby league matches being staged at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in March.

There will also be a men's Super League match between Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves and two NRL fixtures - Canberra Raiders facing New Zealand Warriors and Penrith Panthers vs Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.

Barrow will hold his first training session on Saturday, 7 December and is set to trim his squad down to 20 in February.
