The PM has said William Wragg was right to apologise for sharing the phone numbers of MPs with someone he met on a dating app.
Rishi Sunak was asked if he regretted backing the former Tory MP, who now sits and as an independent after resigning the party whip. Mr Wragg, who was already planning to stand down as an MP at the election has also quit as the vice chairman of the 1922 committee and from chairing Parliament’s public administration committee.
Mr Sunak urged people to be "on guard" against those who want to "subvert our democracy".
