Far-right French presidential candidate Eric Zemmour has been fined by a Paris court for hate speech.

Appearing on a TV show in 2020, he described unaccompanied migrant children as "thieves", "rapists" and "murderers".

Mr Zemmour is a former broadcaster who has attracted support with his anti-Islam and anti-immigration views.

His lawyer says he will appeal the decision.
