Kelechi Iheanacho's penalty was his first Championship goal of the season, seven games inLeicester City secured an impressive win over fellow high-fliers Norwich at Carrow Road to maintain the Foxes' strong start to the season.
Kelechi Iheanacho scored the visitors' opening goal from the penalty spot, before Kasey McAteer secured the victory with Leicester's second near the end.
The victory elevated Leicester to second in the Championship table on 18 points, with Norwich slipping to fifth place.
Enzo Maresca made five changes to his line-up, but there were few signs of his Foxes team struggling for cohesion against a Norwich side who were aiming to maintain a 100 per cent home record.
Early on it looked like Norwich might gain the ascendancy when Mads Hermansen was called into action to deny Jack Stacey but that was as good as it got for the hosts.
Leicester grew in confidence as the first half wore on. The best chance fell for Iheanacho, whose 31st-minute left-footed shot from outside the box was blocked.
Norwich were to be the architects of their own downfall when they lost possession just before the break - Harry Winks collected the ball, releasing Stephy Mavididi, who drew the foul from Christian Fassnacht.
Iheanacho converted his spot-kick into the high centre of the goal to put Leicester ahead.
Norwich could have found themselves in further trouble before half-time when Mavididi once again exposed lethargy within the hosts' defence but his right-footed effort went wide.
At the other end, Kenny McLean was to go closest for the hosts in the 76th minute when his left-footed shot clipped the top of the crossbar.
It was the merest of opportunities for a Canaries side who were second best for most of the evening.
The Foxes sealed all three points in the final throes courtesy of McAteer, who converted Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's assist with a right-footed shot.
