Great Britain's Mathilda Hodgkins-Byrne and Becky Wilde won bronze in the women's doubles sculls at the Paris Olympics.

They made a strong start but were overhauled by eventual champions New Zealand and silver medallists Romania.

Britain then had to dig deep to hold off the Netherlands and secure an emotional medal.

Wilde had surgery on her forearms last September and Hodgkins-Byrne took time away from the sport after Tokyo 2020 to give birth to son Freddie.
