US investigators have shared footage from inside the cabin of an Alaskan Airlines plane, which lost a panel mid-flight on Friday.
The Boeing 737 Max 9 had just taken off from Portland International Airport when one of its door plugs tore off, leaving a hole “the size of a refrigerator” in its fuselage and causing a rapid decrease in cabin pressure. The aircraft was able to make a safe emergency landing and no passengers were injured.
