Jacob Rees-Mogg: 'This is about making the civil service more efficient'

Government Efficiency Minister Jacob Rees-Mogg has said ambitions to cut up to 91,000 civil service jobs are appropriate, given the need to spend taxpayers' money "as efficiently as possible".

"During an issue with the cost of living, with inflation, you need to have control of budgets," he added.
