Sir Keir Starmer has accused Boris Johnson of "insulting our intelligence" with regard to a "cover up" of lockdown parties at No 10.
Speaking to BBC Breakfast, the Labour leader once again called on the prime minister to resign, saying members of the public felt anger, grief and guilt following the revelations of rule-breaking at Downing Street. He said it was "in the national interest" for Boris Johnson to step down.
