Labour: Publicly-bought food to be local and sustainable

Sir Keir Starmer said at least 50% of food bought by the public sector would be "locally produced and sustainable" under a Labour government.

Addressing the National Farmers’ Union conference, he said the last year had shown food security was "national security".
