McIlroy out with Hatton - 2024 Open tee-times

Rory McIlroy will begin the Open Championship alongside Ryder Cup team-mate Tyrrell Hatton and Max Homa when play gets under way at Royal Troon on Thursday, 18 July.

The Northern Irishman, winner of the Claret Jug in 2014, tees off at 10:09 BST in round one.

Scotland's Robert MacIntyre, winner of last week's Scottish Open, sets off at 09:36 alongside England's Tommy Fleetwood and Spain's Jon Rahm.

Tiger Woods is among the afternoon starters and will play with fellow Americans Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay, teeing off at 14:37.

World number one Scottie Scheffler is out at 15:10 with former champion Jordan Spieth and Cameron Young.

Defending champion Brian Harman will play with Norway's Viktor Hovland and Sahith Theegala at 09:58.

American Todd Hamilton, who won The Open at Royal Troon in 2004, will hit the opening tee shot at 06:35.
