A Kent MP has described how conditions worsened at Manston in three days between his visits as 1,500 more people were sent there.
Sir Roger Gale said the migrant processing centre had been “working very well indeed” but it had rapidly deteriorated.
He described the decision not to book further hotel accommodation to stop overcrowding as "incredibly perverse".
