NatWest has said its former boss Dame Alison Rose is set to receive a £2.4m pay package, a month after she resigned over a scandal at the banking giant.

Dame Alison quit on 25 July following a row over the closure of former Ukip leader Nigel Farage's account with Coutts, a private bank run by NatWest.

She is currently working out her 12-month notice period at the group.

NatWest is keeping her planned pay under review as investigations into the scandal continue.
