Nurses' union: Door is open to avoid strikes

Pat Cullen, the general secretary of the Royal College of Nursing, has told the Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg programme that the door is still open for talks to avoid a strike.

Strikes are planned for some nurses in England, Wales and Northern Ireland on 15 and 20 December.

"We aren't for digging in, that's not what nurses do," Ms Cullen said.
