A further 1,300 staff at the collapsed retailer Wilko will lose their jobs, the GMB union has announced.
Administrators at PwC, which is overseeing the company's sale, announced the cuts on Tuesday after 269 posts were slashed last week.
It comes as talks over a full rescue deal for Wilko hang in the balance.
Earlier Discount chain B&M said it would buy up to 51 of Wilko's 400 shops.
However, the fate of a further 350 shops remains uncertain.
Almost 12,500 people work for Wilko, meaning that around one in 12 jobs will go in the latest round of cuts.
