Ozzy Osbourne wants to perform his final shows in his home city, according to his wife.

Sharon Osbourne, who manages the Birmingham-born Black Sabbath front man, said her husband wanted to do two more shows to "say goodbye properly", the Mirror, external reported.

Osbourne, 75, announced he had Parkinson's disease in 2020 before retiring from touring last year.

Mrs Osbourne spoke during a promotional run for a live show about her own life.

Speaking separately to BBC Midlands Today, Mrs Osbourne said her husband still felt a deep connection to Birmingham and planned to spend more time there.

She said the music legend, who performed at the city’s closing ceremony for the 2022 Commonwealth Games, remained a Birmingham boy.

“When he’s dreaming, he never dreams he’s in LA, he always dreams he’s in Birmingham,” she said.

The couple live in the US but plan to move back to the UK this year, Mrs Osbourne revealed.

She became a media personality in her own right due to The Osbornes, a reality TV show about the couple and their children that begun in 2002.

“I don’t sing, I don’t dance, I can’t go and entertain with anything other than my life experience,” she said.

She revealed she also hopes to finalise plans to open an Osbourne museum and music school in Birmingham.

“You can come and see all of Ozzy’s accolades [and]everything from his past,” she said.
