Rangers have confirmed they will play at Ibrox for the first time this season in the Scottish League Cup tie against Dundee on 21 September - but with the Copland Stand closed.

Delays to materials arriving meant work on the stand was held up and Rangers played four home games at nearby Hampden Park.

Chairman John Bennett had said prior to the quarter-final cup draw that Rangers were aiming to be back in Ibrox for the Premiership meeting with Hibernian on 28 September .

"Excluding the Copland Stand, where final concourse and seating works are ongoing, all areas of our home will be open for this match," Rangers said on their website.

"Season ticket holders from the Copland Stand will be offered an exclusive window to purchase seating elsewhere."

Philippe Clement's Rangers are the League Cup holders and beat St Johnstone to reach the last eight while Dundee defeated Airdrieonians.

Dundee return to action after the international break away to Premiership opponents Ross County on 14 September and Rangers' next game is at Dundee United the following day.
