Harry Kane played just shy of an hour for TottenhamTottenham Hotspur were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by the Premier League's bottom-placed side Nottingham Forest.
Forest were the better team and took the lead on 50 minutes through a fine curled effort from Renan Lodi.
An impressive Jesse Lingard headed home following a swift counter-attack to double their lead.
Spurs manager Antonio Conte named a strong XI, including Harry Kane, but his side were outplayed at the City Ground.
