Steven Barclay on NHS strikes: We are happy to talk

The health secretary has said he will meet three trade unions on Tuesday, ahead of Wednesday’s planned strike by ambulance workers.

Steve Barclay said there needed to be a "focus of patients" and a drive to cut waiting lists, and added: "We recognise that pay matters.. but it's not just about pay”.
