US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Rep Matt Gaetz’s bad blood reached a fever pitch. The animosity between the two Republican lawmakers goes back to the Speaker’s race in January.

Gaetz moved to force a vote on ousting McCarthy, after McCarthy passed a resolution to fund the government and avoid a shutdown.
