UK economy grows in January

The UK economy grew by 0.3% January, according to official figures, following a sharp fall in December.

The growth comes after the UK narrowly avoided falling into recession at the end of last year.

The data comes ahead of the Budget next Wednesday when Chancellor Jeremy Hunt will outline the government's plan to boost UK economic growth.
