Hello and welcome to our live stream of the White House Easter egg roll.

It's a tradition that dates back to 1878, where children are invited to play on the South Lawn of the White House.

They use wooden spoons to race across the lawn, trying to get a decorated hard-boiled egg across the finish line.

Some 40,000 people are expected to attend the event today.

And we will also hear from US President Joe Biden.

Watch the live stream by pressing the play button at the top of this page.

There will be no further text updates, so click play and watch along with us.
