Watch: Trump sidesteps question on Putin phone calls

Donald Trump would not confirm whether he has spoken to Russian President Vladimir Putin since leaving office, after reports based on a new book by veteran Watergate reporter Bob Woodward surfaced last week claiming he had done so.

Asked by Bloomberg News editor-in-chief John Micklethwait if the claim was true, Trump answered: "I don't comment on that", adding "If I did, it's a smart thing" for the country.
