Wales captain Ken Owens says Welsh rugby needs to be back at the top of world rugby - not a laughing stock - as a player walkout is narrowly avoided.

Players had threatened to refuse to play England in the Six Nations on Saturday after a contract dispute.

But three key issues were resolved at the 11th hour - and the game in Cardiff will now go ahead.
