West Ham have sacked head coach Rehanne Skinner after winning only one of their opening 11 Women's Super League games this season.
The Hammers, who are second from bottom, drew 2-2 at home to bottom club Liverpool on Sunday.
A West Ham statement read: "Recent results have not matched expectations and the board of directors believe that a change is necessary."
Skinner joined West Ham in July 2023, four months after being sacked by Tottenham.
West Ham finished second from bottom in 2023-24 and ninth last season.
The club said the process to find Skinner's replacement is under way.
West Ham face Manchester City in the Women's League Cup quarter-final on Sunday before taking on reigning WSL champions Chelsea on 11 January.
