This week US lawmakers passed a bill that forces TikTok's Chinese parent company ByteDance to sell the hugely popular social media app, or be banned in America.
But why is the US doing this? And if it has to do with suspicions about China, why is it going after a company headquartered in Singapore? Will TikTok really get banned?
