Will ex-Wilko boss apologise for collapsed firm's failures?

Lisa Wilkson says she is "devastated" that Wilko has let down its former workers, their suppliers and customers.

Business and Trade Committee chairman Liam Byrne asked the former Wilko chair twice if she wanted to apologise to its former staff who were facing Christmas without work.

Asked for a second time, she told MPs: “You can have the word sorry, of course I am sorry… I was not trying to be clever.”
