The schedule for next month's Women's FA Cup semi-final has been confirmed, with both matches to be televised live on the BBC.

Four Women's Super League sides remain in the competition, with holders Manchester United joined by Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Chelsea host Liverpool on Saturday, 12 April (kick-off 12:15 BST) in a match to be shown on BBC One and iPlayer.

Manchester City's game against rivals Manchester United on Sunday, 13 April (kick-off 15:00 BST) will be live on BBC Two and iPlayer.

Liverpool booked their place in the last four for the first time since 2016-17 with a quarter-final win over Arsenal courtesy of a Daphne van Domselaar own goal, while current Women's Super League leaders Chelsea beat bottom-of-the-table Crystal Palace 1-0.

Last year's winners Manchester United clinched their last-four place for a third season in a row with a 3-1 win over Championship side Sunderland as neighbours CIty were 2-0 winners over Aston Villa in what proved to be manager Gareth Taylor's final game in charge.

The two clubs that progress to the final will receive £160,000 in prize money, with the losing teams each getting £40,000.

Should City - now led by interim boss Nick Cushing - and Chelsea win their respective ties and meet in the final, it would mean they will face each other for a sixth time in all competitions this season.

The final, which takes place on Sunday, 18 May, will also be shown live on the BBC.
