Your plan is not working, Suella Braverman tells Rishi Sunak

Former Home Secretary Suella Braverman has accused Rishi Sunak of “manifestly and repeatedly” failing to deliver on key policies.

In a scathing letter to the prime minister, Mrs Braverman told him "your plan is not working".

She said Mr Sunak had betrayed an agreement the pair made when she joined his cabinet, as well as his pledge to do "whatever it takes" to stop small boats crossing the Channel.

Mrs Braverman was sacked as home secretary on Monday, kickstarting a major cabinet reshuffle.
